DESCRIPTION:We hope you will join us on Thursday\, March 2nd from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. for an extraordinary dinner and community conversation on equity and inclusion in the workplace. These engaging conversations will be held regionally across the state\, as we gather to explore practical tools for combating implicit bias and increasing equity in the workplace and catalyze new relationships and collaborations across difference. Hosted by the Southeast Minnesota Regional Workforce Alliance and the Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED). \nDEED\, Regional Workforce Leadership & Planning Teams\, as well as partners and partner staff are invited to come early from 2:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. for an engaging training in the model of IZI on anti-racism and how to handle implicit bias and micro-aggressions in the workplace. \nWhat to Expect\nIf you are receiving this invitation you have been identified as someone who is a leader capable of catalyzing positive change in our community. Expect to be enlivened\, engaged and to have fun as we share an abundant feast and discuss what we can do together to make a more equitable community for all.
