About the Project
IZI provides more than just a mechanism to authentically connect across race, class, culture and other means of self identity in turbulent times. IZI consistently practiced reflects exactly how imperative that “community” is for healing and is the critical foundation for building consensus in our increasingly stratified society. In the past 20 years, hundreds of thousands of people have been to The Table, with thousands of them learning how to either host or teach someone IZI. We have developed a robust consulting practice of personal and professional development as well as expanded our nationally respected community based participatory action research enterprise. We are no longer a regional treasure, but rather, an institution ready to catapult to our next level of impact and innovation through partnering with individuals and organizations. That’s why we are inviting you to join us!

Bridging Gaps Across Difference
Marnita’s Table is a 501(c) organization that seeks to close gaps across difference through making Intentional Social Interaction (“IZI”) / Digital Intentional Social Interaction (“dIZI”) the new pattern for society.
Our model ensures those who are traditionally unheard and excluded are actively and intentionally welcomed and valued at the policy-making and resource-sharing table including IBPOC; women and gender expansive people; the disenfranchised; the poor; those who are LGBTQIA2s+; those who live with disabilities or other abilities; and those from communities historically and currently pushed to the margins.
