Organized by the UW Memory and Brain Wellness Center, on behalf of the Washington State Dementia Action Collaborative, with primary funding provided by the Aging and Long Term Support Administration, and with a planning committee made up of advisors from across the state.

A dementia-friendly community is a town, city or region committed to the full inclusion of people with dementia and their families in community life.

  • Hands-on demonstrations of dementia-friendly arts programs like the Frye Art Museum’s Creative Aging program

In this facilitated experience, Marnita Schroedl of Marnita’s Table will guide us through a time of sharing, learning and peer-to-peer connection. Based in Minnesota, Marnita’s Table specializes in building bridges of understanding across difference.
