GenConnect! Kick-off

The Itasca Project and Marnita’s Table invite you to join us on Tuesday, May 8th, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. as we kick-off GenConnect!
Have you ever wanted to throw a great dinner party? Have you wanted to deepen connections across difference and have a good time while doing it? We are seeking people who want to learn how to host alone or with others! We need you!
GenConnect is an initiative to connect diverse people who may never have met before but who share similar interests and concerns to facilitate deeper conversations and build capacity for collaborative undertakings.
Join us for a cross-cultural, intergenerational community conversation on authentic welcome and collective belonging! Together we’ll collaboratively uncover conversation topics and ways to lower barriers and increase participation for a wide variety of hosts. Come to connect and feast as we build community.

What to Expect
If you are receiving this invitation you have been identified as someone who will add and receive extraordinary value through your participation. We are specifically seeking a vibrant cross-cultural mix of hosts and cohosts. If you know someone across race, class, culture or age who might be an excellent host or cohost we highly encourage you to invite them to join you!
A delicious feast from vegan to carnivore will be served in abundance using the Marnita’s Table model of Intentional Social Interaction. Please dress comfortably. You are our guest for the day! This community supper and dialogue has been made possible thanks to the generosity of the Itasca Project.
