This is our second year awarding the Èquité to members of our community. This award celebrates individuals who exemplify what it means to be an ally consistently through their words, actions, and behaviors of equitably valuing the contributions and innovations of IBPOC and other marginalized individuals.

This year we will be awarding the Équité to six fabulous and hard-working women: Minneapolis City Council Vice President Andrea Jenkins and her team of Deebaa Sirdar and Zoe Bourgerie; and the women of the George Family Foundation and Catalyst Initiative, Penny George, Gayle Ober and Suzanne Koepplinger.
